The Archives of the Qing Dynasty
  ¡¡¡¡160,000 volumes. Most of them were created in the first years and last years of the Qing Dynasty. These include the important records of the imperial activities before the Qing government moved to Beijing, the archives of the Mukden local governments£¬including the Mukden internal cabinet, the deputy governor of Mukden, the governor-general of the three tombs, the received letters from the Mukden internal cabinet, from the Beijing internal cabinet, and from the five ministries of the Mukden government. The imperial family trees of the Qing emperors which are listed in China archives and Documentary Heritage, the documents written in the 31st year of Guangxu to convene the emperor¡¯s secret orders through the military cabinet to the local high ranking officials in the northeast part ¡ª¡ª the only comprehensive documents of the imperial government now preserved in China, the congratulation letters sent to Cixi by the local governor, Chahaer, the appointment made by Kangxi to the daughter of Heshuoliqinwang ( a relative of the emperor, and an imperial governor), the announcements of protecting foreign businessmen issued by the Qing government after the signing of the Xinchou Treaty are valuable treasures.
